Junky for statistics, experimental methods, and machine learning techniques. I find intrinsic enjoyment from understanding nuance and generating intuitions from complex, noisy, human-centered data whether it be qualitative, behavior, natural language, or neural data.
I earned my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2022 from Carnegie Mellon University after which I completed a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship where was the Principle Investigator of the ExCaLBBR Lab conducting computational social science research.
I currently operate as a research consultant through Velocity Ave & my own LLC, SideQuest Consulting where I have worked with companies such as Google and Anaconda. I am also currently special faculty at Carnegie Mellow where I teach the PhD-level Data Science course for the Psychology department.
